The 2019 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show has concluded with the announcement of the Best In Show: King, the Wire Fox Terrier!

Bono, the Havanese, was named the Reserve Best In Show.

It is important to note, of course, that all of the dogs at Westminster are VERY GOOD DOGS.

There are no losers, there are only VERY.

A wire fox terrier named King is America's top canine after earning the title of best in show on Tuesday night in a Westminster Kennel Club dog show.

On Feb. 12, the Wire Fox Terrier Grand Champion Kingarthur Van Foliny Home was crowned Best in Show at the 143rd Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

Best in Show 2019 King was the 15th Wire Fox Terrier to earn the top title at Westminster.

"King" wins the 143rd Westminster Dog Show.

GOOD. DOGS. This dog is simply VERY VERY GOOD, which is only slightly better than VERY GOOD but enough to make it Best In Show.

The format of the competition is fairly straightforward. Dogs compete within their breed in their specific groups out of Hound, Toy, Non-Sporting, Herding, Sporting, Working and Terrier, and with each other to determine the best in each group.

Then, those dogs compete for the overall Best in Show award.

The Terrier Group holds the most wins, with 46 wins, more than twice as much as any other group, with the last win coming in 2014.

The Wire Fox is already the winningest breed at the Westminster Dog Show, with King's victory bringing their Best in Show title total up to 15.
