Michaela Strachan dazzled both the judges and viewers with a "delightful" performance as she debuted on Dancing On Ice, topping the leader board of the ITV1 show.

The Sunday premiere of the latest series saw new celebrities gliding onto the ice, but it was 58 year old Springwatch presenter Strachan and her professional partner Mark Hanretty that stole the show. The duo skated to Cole Porter's 'Let’s Do It' earning an impressive score of 30.5 points from the panel.

Judge Ashley Banjo praised their performance, saying: "You might have been nervous, but you approached that with so much adventure and fun and fearlessness that you almost can’t help but enjoy it."
