Fringe World 2025: Melbourne’s Showmen Productions returns to Perth for more than 20 shows of magical madness
Perth is gearing up for a summer of mind-bending magical mayhem, as some of the nation’s best magicians prepare to descend on the City of Light for Fringe World 2025.
Melbourne-based production company Showmen Productions will make the trip out west next month for more than 20 hilarious shows of magical madness.
Co-founded in 2020 by mates Sam Hume and Justin Williams, Showmen Productions is regarded a trailblazer in the Australian performing arts scene.

“I started magic when I was in my last year of primary school ...
I found a card magic book and started learning tricks,” Hume said.
“People seemed to like it, so I went down a rabbit hole and a deep dive through YouTube and just fell in love (with magic) and started learning all the tricks I could.
“Eventually I found a magic school up here in Melbourne where I met other magicians doing it for a living, and then I eventually met Justin.”
