The final instalment will unfold in the show's original home of New York City, and will see Penn Badgley's Joe Goldberg embark on a supposedly happy ever after – that is until ghosts from his past threaten to undo his seemingly perfect new life with partner Kate, played by Ghosts star Charlotte Ritchie.

Following on from the ending of season 4, where Joe reigned supreme and got everything he ever wanted, it wouldn't quite be a season of You without Joe developing an obsessive compulsion to imprint on someone now, would it?

Joining Badgley and Ritchie are a whole new cast of faces, including The Handmaid's Tale's Madeline Brewer, Anna Camp (True Blood), Nava Mau (Baby Reindeer) and Griffin Matthews (The Flight Attendant).
